Owned by a local Guatemalan, Mario Castellanos, this school offers total immersion into both the culture and the Spanish language.
Mario, the owner, keeps the school in constant activity, arranging school trips and cultural events, an example of the typical and friendly Guatemalan hospitality.
Classes are held in a friendly evironment.
The method of learning Spanish at this school is one to one, meaning one teacher for one student, providing a relaxed and helpful environmet for the process of learning. The teachers at Tecun Uman have been carefully selected to assure the maximum benefits for the students. After more than 16 years of experience Mario knows what is best for you. Antigua is a colonial city with many cafes, international restaurants, galleries, and wonderful weather that will make your stay quite pleasant. ROOM AND BOARDNormally students choose to stay with a local family, but you can stay in a hotel as well. We recommed the first option. The families provide 3 meals daily, (except Sunday), hot showers and private rooms for $50 a week. HOW TO GET HERE After you make your reservations, we will be more than happy to pick you up at the airport. Just give us the airline, flight number, arriving date and time and we will be right there waiting for you. Fare is $25. The school is located a few block from the center of town.
